So why has inner peace become such a difficult thing to feel? Not many people in today's world can actually say that they live in peaceful state. Yet it is our birthright, it's our natural state of being. What's gone wrong?
You came into this world as a beautiful, peaceful, innocent, loving being, full of self esteem and wonder for the world around you. And, most importantly, you loved yourself.
But as you grew, you absorbed the world around you. You heard people talking, you experienced things, others said things to you, and gradually your way of thinking changed and you developed negative beliefs about yourself and the world.
Your entire perception changed. And now here you are!
Believe me, I've been in a place where you possibly are right now - full of discontent, anxiety, stress, lack of fulfillment and a general feeling of inner angst. Too busy living in the past and worrying about the future to have the slightest chance of letting myself experience that peaceful place inside.
I was determined I wasn't going to live the rest of my life feeling that way.
So, what gives me the right to share this website with you? Well, I know what it's like to be craving a more peaceful and joyous life; to want to heal the emotional turmoil going on inside.
And now that I'm more consistently aware of my natural state of being, of inner peace, I feel I've learned many things along the way. And I'm still learning - we all are and always will be. It is now my deepest desire to share these things with you, to help you along your way.
Now that I experience life from a completely different perspective, I want to let you know that you can find that inner harmony that makes life a joy, not a struggle. Anything else is just not our true state of being - but we have made struggle the 'norm'.
But you're right - it is normal to experience stress, anxiety, pain, grief, sadness, anger, jealousy, hate, etc., etc. We are human after all. And these emotions are a necessary part of life. But when unpleasant emotions seem to be the majority, it's time to make them the minority.
